OCLINDYEXCHANGE [home] [Articles] [review (pics and karaoke vids)] Success! OCLX 2006 Review! Thanks to all the out of towners who came out and took over the OC! Hosting the OCLX this year was great fun for Nikki and I. Thank you all for coming. The good: Great turnout at all the events. 300+ on Friday, 400 on Sat and 200 on Sun. Plus the day events were well attended and especially fun. The bad: The one weekend everyone comes to OC it hails. We had a pretty rainy weekend. We had 2 hours of sun at the beach and then it rained and the crazy lindy hoppers kept dancing. We had 90 out of towners. Let's do it again next year! Benjie Shwimmer(spelling please?) and Ronni from Denver won the Judges Call It Jack and Jill. Benjie is a west coast swing Champion. He told me 5 minutes before the contest that this was his first Lindy only event. yeesh. And to the person who stole the 3 matching soap dispensers from Top Cats on Saturday night...you suck.
